This statement by Yoga Master Aadil Palkhivala emphasizes the significance of a healthy spine. He further states, “Moving the spine forward in backbends can help us to stay young physically, mentally and emotionally.’
In this Purna Yoga Workshop we will focus on upper back backbends to improve posture, expand breath capacity and cultivate feelings of joy. Preparing the body for backbends is key. You will learn how to open your upper back and shoulders to move more freely in backbends. Opening the chest and shoulders will allow you to breath more deeply and open the heart Chakra. You’ll come away feeling revitalized and more alive.
