Gentle Yoga for Pitta Season: This 6 weeks series provides a brief overview about the Ayurvedic doshas and how the heat energy of Pitta can be balanced with gentle yoga. Katie Bonnett will guide students through gentle movements and asanas to help cool, relax, and prevent burnout with self care. Each class will end with a guided meditation with calming and cooling imagery to relax the nervous system and offset the chaos and busyness of summertime. Gentle Yoga is a great way to ease into a yoga practice, whether you are a beginner or returning from a hiatus from the mat. It can benefit those transitioning from a sedentary lifestyle, healing from an injury or physical limitations, as well as anyone who would like to calm the nervous system.
