NEW Time – Yoga Body Drop-In: Online and In-Studio with Colleen Sexton

The whole entire human body is important, and in each of my classes while one portion of the body will be used more dominantly I fully recognize the necessity of a holistic view in teaching this anatomically focused way.
Breath, savasana, and a dynamic full body warm up will be included in every class experience with me.
In booty, we’ll focus on building and maintaining strong glutes for walking, sitting and standing, and most any active standing activity. Hip flexibility and structural strengthening may also be achieved.
In core, a strong back as well as front torso will be emphasized as we take time to explore poses that challenge the muscles to grow, and also to find release in those muscles.
Inversions will be an exploration into the world of being upside down. We will not be doing anything unassisted by a wall or a chair, and caution must be exercised as you listen to your body and go only as far as you feel comfortable. A couple examples of poses: L shaped handstand at the wall, dolphin with a foot or 2 on the wall…
Twists will be a full body experience as we flow through more of a typical yoga class, with opportunities to add a twist when we would maybe ordinarily move on.
