
Mantras, Mudras, and Mandalas a Workshop: In Studio with Katie Beloved & Katie Bonnett

Join us for this two-hour workshop that includes singing mantras, exploring mudras (hand seals) and coloring/creating mandalas. Singing and chanting mantras has many benefits, including increased self-awareness, reduced stress and a greater sense of calm. We will combine our mantras with mudras, or hand postures. Mudras help to link the brain to the body, stimulate endorphins and increase vitality. We will also spend time coloring and creating mandalas, which brings the mind into a relaxed and meditative state, and increases feelings of joy and wellbeing. As we find mindfulness in presence of body, we let go of the stress of the mind and manifest the desires of our heart. Creating mandalas with these intentions or prayers of our heart is a powerful visual meditation that continues to manifest every time we look at them. If you find sitting in meditation difficult, these mindfulness practices may serve you! This will be an afternoon of community, connection and creativity that you don’t want to miss.
