Fall Equinox Present Being, Mindfulness Practice & Yoga Nidra Workshop: In Studio with Xiomara Melgar

Mindfulness is knowing what you’re experiencing while you are experiencing it.
This class is a loving invitation to unite mind and body through intentional gentle movement, breathing and taking in the present moment with all your senses followed by Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra (translated as yogic sleep) is an ancient technique to achieve deep states of conscious relaxation, using cues to practice awareness from the external to the inner world.
Better than taking a nap Yoga Nidra can be as restorative as sleep, reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, improving your sleep and reducing insomnia, and detaching you from your thoughts.
