Acupuncture
Jamie L Davis, MA, MSA, EAMP, LMP
Mission Statement:
To integrate acupuncture and Chinese medicine with therapeutic healing arts in order to promote health, well being, and individual and family cohesion. I am dedicated to helping others find relief from pain, dis-ease, and daily stresses by providing a well-versed range of holistic healthcare services, and integrating ancient medical philosophies into the 21st century lifestyle.
Biography & History:
Jamie L Davis, MA, MSA, EAMP, LMP, is an East Asian Medical Practitioner licensed through the state of Washington.
Acupuncture was introduced to me while in graduate school earning my Masters degree in medical anthropology. I was experiencing intense migraines that were not improving through standard allopathic care. Once I started receiving acupuncture treatment and finally found relief from the migraines, I knew that my life's path was not simply to study medicine but to practice it. So I completed my degree in anthropology and immediately enrolled at Bastyr University to begin a new path in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. While in school for acupuncture, I simultaneously received an education in massage from the Brenneke-Cortiva Institute, earning a license in massage in 2006; I then graduated with a Master of Science in Acupuncture in 2008. To further my knowledge in Chinese medicine, I completed training in Shanghai, China, working with Chinese masters in two well-known Shanghai hospitals, with emphasis on acupuncture techniques and tuina (Chinese massage techniques).
Through acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Chinese herbs, massage and bodywork, and my previous training in medical anthropology, I use an integrated approach to holistic medicine to promote healing, wellness education, and cultural awareness to my patients and community.

Thank you for taking time to investigate options for your transformation. For the last 10 years I have used different modalities for my own healing and transformation as well as for others. I understand the complexities of moving from where you are to where you want to be. I have found that people need different approaches and combinations of modalities to get their desired result. The following is a little insight into how I can be a tool in your movement.
Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist ~ This modality allows for you to relax your conscious mind and plug into your sub-conscious. It employs your higher intelligence to remove or reverse beliefs that no longer serve you. Once the old belief is converted, new responses to life are generated. These responses are from the truth of who you are, not the noise we all accumulate throughout our lives from our surroundings. The Clinical aspect is an adjunct to current medical care as well as assisting with chronic pain.
Reiki Practitioner ~ Reiki has the capacity to remove blocks and stored memories from our cells, energetic fields, and our total being. Our bodies hold trauma at a cellular and vibrational level. I use toning along with Reiki to clear anything that no longer serves you and raise your frequency. Reiki can also be used purely for relaxation.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) ~ Have you heard of “tapping”? EFT is useful for tapping out the negative and tapping in the positive. I combine this with other modalities to anchor you to a place where you can love and accept yourself completely. This assists in self forgiveness and can also be used to remove emotional blocks.
These modalities can be used for stress relief, anxiety, PTSD, releasing childhood issues, building self esteem, easing grieving process, clearing phobias, accelerated healing, sexual abuse, divorce, achieving personal goals, building your immune system, becoming clearer in your own identity, and exploring spirituality. I also work with children with parental consent.
I am available at Three Trees Yoga &Healing Arts Center on Sundays by calling 425.877.0690. Please call me for a free consultation at any time. I look forward to hearing from you!
